Who is The KBC
Since 2007, The KBC Houston has been a trusted event venue partner for educational institutions, nonprofits and community organizations across the Greater Houston area. Purpose-built and community-centered, The KBC was designed to be more than a venue. It is a place where ideas are shared, connections are strengthened and meaningful impact begins.
From the moment you arrive, you’ll feel the warm, welcoming energy that defines who we are. With more than 1,100 free parking spaces and more than 40 flexible rooms across two floors, The KBC Houston offers small, medium and large event spaces that adapt effortlessly to conferences, workshops, trainings and community gatherings of all kinds.
We specialize in turnkey event solutions, pairing versatile spaces with five-star service that makes planning seamless from start to finish. Every room is equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi, projectors, screens, and in-house AV support, ensuring your event runs smoothly and professionally.
Our spacious lobbies feature soaring ceilings and thoughtfully placed amenities (and a two-story slide!), setting the tone for an environment where guests feel comfortable, inspired and ready to connect. At The KBC, hospitality isn’t an add-on; it’s part of who we are.
A History Rooted in Community
The KBC Houston is situated at the heart of Pointe 2.3.4, a historic urban development in Southwest Houston that represents one of the largest privately led community revitalization efforts in the country at the time of its creation.
What began in the early 2000s as a vision for a 24-hour prayer center grew into something far greater. When Pastor Kirbyjon Caldwell set out to secure 20 acres for the project, he ultimately acquired 234 acres, opening the door to a bold, community-driven transformation. Working alongside real estate leaders, city partners, minority-owned builders and committed volunteers, Pointe 2.3.4 brought lasting opportunity and dignity to this Houston corridor.
Notably, no consultant or developer received fees for this project. Every participant volunteered their expertise, united by a shared commitment to service. The result was more than buildings. It was monumental and a symbol of community investment and empowerment. This work generated more than $68 million in taxable value through the improvements that followed.
The project oversaw the creation of:
More than 450 homes in the Corinthian Pointe subdivision, which serve low- and moderate-income buyers
A nearly 200,000-square-foot community center that became The KBC Houston
Retail spaces and medical facilities
Schools, including Jean Hines-Caldwell Elementary School, which is named in honor of Caldwell’s mother and her legacy as a prominent Houston ISD educator

Beyond serving as a premier event destination, The KBC is also home to a diverse community-focused tenants, including Baker Ripley. Over the years, our campus has supported financial institutions, high schools and small businesses that align with our commitment to service, opportunity and neighborhood growth.
